| Background |
Founded in 1994 by Kelli L.
Gorman after seven years in the industry, the business was built on a solid
foundation of knowledge. Ms. Gorman’s experience is derived from a career
with various companies. Each firm had a different industry focus, including;
appraisals, residential title reports, commercial real estate research,
environmental site assessments, asset & liability investigations, credit
reports, and pre-employment research. |

With 17 years in the industry
covering multiple counties and working daily in the various courthouses,
BAST has been around long enough to observe the advent of technology and
it’s effect on the public record systems. We were there when everything was
in book format! We know each clerk’s idiosyncrasies and how that translates
into the current records. |

record research including the basic document retrieval, filing, court case
retrievals, UCC, Tax Lien, and Judgment name searches; however … Our
expertise is searching real estate titles; including ownership and legal
description verifications, mortgage & assignment searches, residential
ownership and encumbrance reports, and the more complex chain of title
reports on commercial property for environmental site assessments. |
